The first Clun Valley Music Festival takes as its inspiration the music from the period of World War One. At the centre of the programme will be composer George Butterworth, who lost his life at the battle of the Somme. As Butterworth was a keen collector of folk music, we are delighted to be collaborating with folk musician John Kirkpatrick for the last concert.
