Beau Pluto – piano

Programme Note


20-year-old Beau Pluto commenced his piano studies at the age of five and has won over 30 awards since, in competitions like Jugend musiziert and the Steinway-Competition Berlin. He has recorded with the radio station Bayerischer Rundfunk, performed with the Youth Orchestra Nuremberg and participated in masterclasses such as the Festival MusicAlp in Tignes, France, and the Rotary Summer Course in Weimar, Germany. His mentors include Professor Claude-France Journès (Hochschule für Musik and Theater München) and Professor Christopher Elton (Royal Academy of Music, London).

His free lunchtime concert at the chapel of the RMH will consist of one Schumann etude, the first ballade by Chopin and the second and third movement of the Appassionata sonata by Beethoven.
