Programme Note
This is a multi-media, multi-performer celebration of St George's Day - a concert for all the family! City of Bristol Brass Band and UWE Bristol Singers will perform live, with digital choir Homechoir joining them via video, in a true merging of styles and media.
Each group will perform a selection of pieces, and then the combined choirs of UWE Bristol Singers and Homechoir, accompanied by Bristol Brass Band, will perform together!
Funds raised at this event will benefit Alive Activities. Alive is a charity dedicated to improving the quality of life for older people and their carers. They provide meaningful engagement and activity for older people, and training for those who support them, both in the community and care settings. Through their ever-growing programme of activity and support, they reduce older people’s social isolation by connecting them with their local communities.
