Programme Note

The third of six 'petits concerts', curated by James Lisney, raising funds for musical/education charities.  The title is taken from the annual series of recitals given by Charles-Valentin Alkan at the Erard showroom in Paris during the 1870s.

The concert includes the world premiere of Winter Vignettes by Alex Stobbs, performed by Joy Lisney (cello) and the composer (piano)

From 2pm on concert days, James Lisney offers a piano clinic with all proceeds benefiting the relevant charity.
