Programme Note
Gustav Mahler - A Chamber Music Celebration
The Delphine Trio and Friends are young musicians who love to communicate, about music and through music. Tonight’s works are by three composers - Mahler himself, his contemporary Zemlinksy, and Beethoven whose piano works Mahler played from childhood and whose orchestral works he conducted frequently.
The Gustav Mahler Society UK supports young musicians in promoting Mahler’s life and works. The concessionary price includes young musicians and music students.
