Programme Note

Ian Buckle is returning as our soloist in the piano masterpiece Brahms wrote as a young man.   Rachmaninov's 2nd Symphony was also written in Germany, while he was having a quiet break with his family away from the noisy social life of Moscow.  Both are great pieces of romantic music with wonderful melodies.

Come to a Sunday afternoon concert to hear Nottingham Philharmonic Orchestra with conductor Mark Heron returning for a new season at the Albert Hall, Nottingham.  No parking problems and still daylight when you come out.

Bring your family - Tickets for students and children are only £5
