The newly formed CSYO Alumni Orchestra is joined by international soloist Ian Bostridge in its inaugural concert in London performing works by Maconchy, Britten and Brahms.
This is a fundraising event in support of the current City of Sheffield Youth Orchestra programme. All proceeds will go to supporting talented musicians of the South Yorkshire region to take part in CSYO's annual programme of courses and concerts, receiving exceptional tuition and unparalleled performance opportunities.
The aims of the Alumni Network are two-fold: to connect and re-connect past members socially and professionally, whilst simultaneously and collectively working towards preserving the current annual CSYO programme long into the future. The future of CSYO is in question due to ever-increasing financial challenges.
