Add to my Calendar 16-06-2023 19:30 16-06-2023 21:30 36 Beethoven Piano Sonatas Eliana Grasso, pianist, has performed in Europe and the United States in concert halls such as the Carnegie Hall in New York, the Wigmore Hall in London, Sala Verdi in Milan, the Royal Academy Music in London, the Hermitage in Saint Petersburg, the Theatre “La Filature” in Mulhouse, the Maffeiana Hall in Verona, the Social Theatre in Bellinzona, the Pauline Chapel in Rome, the Bloomsbury Theatre in London, Salon Chopin in Paris, Ducal Palace in Mantova, and Piccolo Regio Theatre in Turin.   She made her debut in 1994 playing Haydn’s Piano Concerto in D Major with the Orchestra of Mulhouse, directed by Luca Pfaff, and has since performed regularly as a soloist with numerous orchestras, including: Magister Harmoniae, Orchestra Piccolo Auditorium Paradisi, and the Verona Philharmonic Orchestra.   She has won prizes in International Music Competitions: Third prize at the EMCY St. Petersburg International Competition and First Prize in New York’s Golden Classical Awards. In Italy, she has won the Stresa Competition, J.S. Bach Prize, Kawai Prize, Clementi competition and others. In 2014, she won First Prize in the International Competition “Festival of Bellagio”.   In 2000, she graduated from the Turin Conservatoire with full marks, where she also obtained her Master’s degree in piano performance, winning the scholarship “Lascito Piacenza” for the best piano recital. Since then, she has worked as collaborative pianist for the Academy of La Scala Theatre, and today she is Professor of Piano at the “A Vivaldi” Conservatoire in Alessandria.
