Following this she'll delight us with Glazunov's idyll for horn and strings. Don't miss out, as this is one of the very few chances you'll get to hear this rarely performed little gem. We start with Manuel de Falla's well known 'Ritual Fire Dance' taken from his ballet 'El Amor Brujo'. A lively, passionate, and overtly Spanish piece. We conclude with Mendelssohn's Scottish Symphony -- music which evokes the wild and romantic landscapes of that proud country. All conducted by Laurence Perkins who made a stunning and highly popular debut with the Orchestra in this role for our Masterworks concert in 2023. All Saints Church, Sheffield DD/MM/YYYYDetails
