Programme Note
Join the Thames Philharmonic Choir for a hotly anticipated concert of uplifting anthems for choir and organ. Drawing from the German, French and English choral traditions, the programme of music spans over 300 years from the 18th Century right up to the present day with an exciting new commission from upcoming local composer, Emily Hazrati. With the rich and varied choral textures on display combined with virtuosic organ accompaniment, this is surely a concert not to be missed.
Solo parts will be sung by Thames Philharmonic's choral scholars, Daisy Livesey (Soprano), Hera Protopapas (Alto), Matt Cooke (Tenor) and Allyn Wu (Bass).
Organ accompaniment will be provided by James Orford, who will also perform solo on Kingston's celebrated Frobenius organ.
The concert will be conducted by Music Director, Harry Bradford.
