Add to my Calendar 01-04-2017 19:30 01-04-2017 21:30 36 Sale Chamber Orchestra Spring Concert Quite frankly this will probably be our most exciting concert ever!  As well as our specially-invited wind-playing friends, it will feature two amazing soloists, Iona Brown (violin) and Nick Byrne (cello) in the spectacular Brahms Double Concerto.  We also give you not one but two hugely popular overtures: Mendelssohn’s ‘Hebrides’ and Beethoven’s ‘Egmont’. All this and Schubert’s ‘Tragic’ Symphony. Don’t be misled by his title though as this delightful work has more drama than pathos and includes a rather beautiful slow movement.
