His programme will include works both written and arranged for accordion by J.S. Bach, Vivaldi, Penderecki & Piazzolla. Bartosz Glowacki is one of the leading lights of a new generation of accordionists hailed for creating "a poignant and distinctive sound world" (The Observer). Book to be sure of seat.Bartosz Glowacki has performed in prestigious venues such as Wigmore Hall, Royal Festival Hall, and Salle Cortot. He has premiered compositions by Luke Bedford, Richard Causton, and Diana Burrell, and has collaborated with world-renowned musicians such as Nigel Kennedy and Trevor Pinnock. Bartosz is also extremely active as a chamber musician. He is a founding member of the Deco Ensemble, which has been described as “one of the UK's foremost tango quintets" (The Daily Telegraph). Bartosz has also worked with institutions such as The Royal Opera House, London Sinfonietta, and Sinfonia Varsovia. Born in Poland, Bartosz won Polish Young Musician of the Year in 2009. After studying at the National School of Music, he moved to London and, in 2015, graduated from the Royal Academy of Music with a first-class diploma and the Regency Award.
