Programme Note
A Screenshot of Now is a well timed song cycle, featuring the original music of award winning composer and virtuosic guitarist Giacomo Susani, and text by visionary poet and physician Chinwe D. John. This dramatic and current song cycle, soars with two resplendent countertenors Tim Mead and Alexander Chance, as well as dramatic tenor Daniel Norman. Rising star, tenor Manase Latu, will be singing the tenor role at this premiere.
Each performer, through their powerful performances, embody various themes of our present lives. Capitalism, Tech, Love, Nature and Mortality, are explored musically, through songs that allow for both catharsis and celebration.
A Screenshot of Now is being released the day prior 10/4, by the respected label Linn Records. There will be a Meet and Greet after the concert, and album signing.
