Add to my Calendar 16-06-2018 19:30 16-06-2018 21:30 36 Helix Ensemble in Bingham Once again we are the guests of BCAC promoted by Steven Halls in Bingham, and our Musical Director this time will be Dan Watson, who is local to Leicestershire, and featured in the BBC series 'All Together Now: The Great Orchestra Challenge!'   We have a young pianist, Maria Luc from the Royal Northern College of Music playing Mozart's piano concerto in D Minor.  The concert also features two pieces by English composers; Finzi's Eclogue for piano and strings, and Little Suite, for Oboe, Clarinet and Strings, music written by Walter Gaze Cooper, a composer and conductor from Nottingham in the 20th Century.  This may the first performance of this work by Gaze Cooper!   The concert ends with Beethoven's lively Symphony No 1.   If you would like to buy tickets in advance, Steven Halls is offering them at £10 for adults - Ring 01949 876147 or stevenhalls@hotmail.com    Tickets on the door are £12, accompanied children are free and all tickets include refreshments.
