Programme Note

Duo Brikcius, two cellists, brother and sister Anna Brikciusová and František Brikcius, will be performing music for two cellos by Johann Sebastian Bach (1685 - 1750), Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756 - 1791), Gioachino Rossini (1792 - 1868), Gabriel Fauré (1845 - 1924) and contemporary Czech composer Irena Kosíková. This year we are commemorating the 341st anniversary of the birth of Johann Sebastian Bach.
