Acclaimed bass-baritone Laurent Naouri and pianist Jocelyn Freeman open Icons & Legends with a carefully chosen programme of French songs by Poulenc, Crickboom, Chaminade, Fauré, and intertwined versions of the legend of Don Quichotte by both Ravel and Ibert.

SongEasel's Icons & Legends 2022 Series celebrates a notorious dinner meeting in Paris in May 1922 that included Marcel Proust, James Joyce, Pablo Picasso, Igor Stravinsky and Sergei Diaghilev.
