The mini series, Café Chanson, celebrates the musical cafe culture of nineteenth-century Paris through song. 

In this recital that includes works by 2021 anniversary composer Pauline ViardotFauréPoulenc and Clara Schumann“beautifully dark-coloured baritone” (Opera Magazine NL) Jonathan McGovern and prize-wining soprano Josephine Goddard make their debuts on the Blackheath Halls stage with pianist and curator Jocelyn Freeman.
