Programme Note
Dimitra Ananiadou was born in Greece. She took her first violin lessons in her hometown, followed by studies at the Ionian University, University of York, and the University of Manchester. She took part in international masterclasses in Greece and abroad. She has a Diploma of Harmony, Diploma of Violin, Bachelor in Musicology, Master in Musicology and Master in Performance, all with distinction. Dimitra gives a significant number of performances each year, and she is praised for her maturity, emotional expression and technical ease.
