Programme Note

A celebration of Sussex-inspired music with the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, featuring the world premiere of 'On Windover Hill' - a new Arts Council-supported cantata describing the famous hill-figure of The Long Man of Wilmington. 

Alongside this premiere will be the music of two neglected female composers, Ruth Gipps and Avril Coleridge-Taylor. Wyndore by the latter composer will be receiving its first UK performance in over 80 years.
