David Briggs is an internationally renowned organist whose performances are acclaimed for their musicality, virtuosity, and ability to excite and engage audiences of all ages. Consistently ranked as one of the finest organists of his generation, David’s extensive repertoire spans five centuries. He has also become one of the foremost organ transcribers of symphonic works, thereby giving listeners the opportunity to experience the organ in a new way.
Chelmsford Singers are a choral society with a reputation for producing quality music since 1912, currently numbering around 50 members. James Davy is the Organist and Master of Choristers at Chelmsford Cathedral and has been Musical Director of Chelmsford Singers since 2012. Hilary Punnett is organist at Chelmsford Cathedral.
The Chelmsford Sinfonietta is a professional chamber orchestra made up of some of the UK's finest instrumentalists from Essex, London and beyond.
The orchestra was originally set up in 2006 for a concert in celebration of its founder's 50th birthday. The orchestra functions on a freelance basis.
