Programme Note

Members of Brighton Philharmonic and Friends present the third in their summer season of chamber music concerts - Brighton Connections - which feature the work of local composers alongside well-known favourites.  Local pianist Rachel Fryer plays Hove-born composer Peter Copley's "Partita for Piano Quartet" - a work which started life as a commission by the Schubert Ensemble, which Peter later developed, encouraged by his friend and fellow composer, Paul Carr.
