Programme Note
In a programme of piano classics, Mark Bebbington contrasts the drama of two of Beethoven’s best-loved piano sonatas with the romantic lyricism of Frédéric Chopin.
Mark has toured extensively over recent seasons, including concertos with the Czech National, Buffalo Symphony, American Symphony (Carnegie Hall) and Israel Camerata. His recent CD releases have met with worldwide acclaim and a Poulenc CD on Resonus Classics with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and Jan Latham-Koenig was nominated for a Gramophone Award last year.
