Programme Note

Join the internationally acclaimed WorldChoir, formerly The Stay At Home Choir, as its singers reunite in person for their biggest concert in five years. Under the dynamic direction of Tori Longdon and Jamie Wright, this extraordinary ensemble of almost 300 singers from across the globe presents a powerful programme guaranteed to uplift and inspire.

Experience the thrilling finale of Mahler’s Symphony No. 2, the ‘Resurrection’, the radiant harmonies of Vivaldi’s Gloria, and a selection of beloved choral works that celebrate the power of community and the human voice.

This landmark event marks the culmination of a four-day choral course bringing together hundreds of singers who found each other through virtual rehearsals during the pandemic and now finally sing side-by-side on stage.

These two performances are a joyful testament to resilience, unity, and the magic of choral music. A must-see for any choral enthusiast.
