Programme Note
A regular highlight of Christmas in Cheltenham, the Mozart Symphony Orchestra returns to Cheltenham Town Hall for its annual performance of the timeless classic, The Snowman, for which the film is shown on the big screen with live symphony orchestra providing the soundtrack, which famously includes the song made so famous by Aled Jones: ‘Walking in the air’.
The concert will also feature Britain’s favourite bear in Paddington Bear’s first concert – a charming piece for narrator and orchestra that sees the lovable scamp rescued from Paddington station by the Brown family and taken to a concert – at the Royal Albert Hall!
This concert is the perfect antidote to panto and a wonderful Christmas treat for all the family. The concert is repeated at 16:30
