The music, including the deeply moving Songs of Farewell by C.H.H Parry and Holst's exquisite Nunc Dimittis, will surround the audience from out of the darkness of the candlelit cathedral, as the performance moves through the building. This spectacular evening also includes works by Edward Elgar, John Ireland, William Byrd, Thomas Tallis and John Sheppard. Nos Miseri Homines is an exciting vocal ensemble made up of eight outstanding young professional singers, drawn from the choirs of Chichester and Winchester Cathedrals, London colleges and consorts, and Oxbridge colleges. Since its foundation in 2013 by singers from the choir of Christ Church, Oxford, it has been attracting attention and delighting audiences with its engaging style of performance and unique blend.
