Mozart's Requiem will draw on choral forces from three different choirs, supplemented by professional soloists, with chamber accompaniment comprising a local pianist and three visiting string players from Austria who (in their day job!) are members of the world-famous Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra and form three-quarters of the Wiener Klavierquartett. As a foil to Mozart's choral masterpiece, our Austrian instrumentalists will open the concert with a String Trio by Beethoven from his Opus 9 set.
