Errollyn Wallen CBE is a multi award-winning Belize-born British composer, appointed Master of the King’s Music in August 2024. She has been named as one of the world’s top twenty most performed living classical composers and was awarded this year’s BBC Music Magazine Personality of the Year. Her output includes over twenty operas and a large catalogue of orchestral, chamber and vocal works, which are performed and broadcast throughout the world.
She will be in conversation with writer Dr Leah Broad.
This event takes place in Christ Church's beautiful Upper Library. (Please note that access to the Upper Library is via a long spiral staircase, which might restrict access for those with limited mobility).
