Also introducing to our Leicester audience, Mirror of Perfection, by Richard Blackford, which was inspired by a visit to Assisi. Stephen Prichard of the Observer says, " Blackford takes the delightful, little-known poetry of St Francis of Assisi and builds a powerful cantata of great lyrical beauty..." We look forward to performing this piece for the first time under the baton of our new Director of Music, Dr Stephen Bullamore and are also pleased to welcome the Chameleon Arts Orchestra to perform with us for the first time.
