Programme Note

BAFTA award winner and University of Leeds alumnus Alistair McGowan joins string quartet The Revolutionary Drawing Room to recreate a concert party hosted by composer Stephen Storace in 1784. The players were Haydn (violin 1), Baron Dittersdorf (violin 2), Vanhal (cello) and Mozart (viola).  The performance will be interspersed with readings from the Reminiscences of Irish tenor Michael Kelly who was a guest at the party.
