In a special two-concert event to open our autumn season, the Berkeley Ensemble offer an opportunity to get to know three rarely-performed gems of the British repertoire, set in context and brought to life by the musicians. To conclude the day, they come together in a performance of Beethoven’s Septet, one of his most loved works since its premiere in 1800.
