Programme Note

To celebrate composer and folk song collector Ralph Vaughan Williams’ 150th birthday join us at the Cathedral for an exciting evening of music. The concert features acapella folk group Broomdasher and instrumental trio Coracle in collaboration with Coventry Cathedral Choir. Supported by the Grand Cathedral Organ they, and maybe even you, will raise the roof of Coventry Cathedral!

From Pub to Pulpit is the only official touring event marking the 150th Birthday of one of the nation’s favourite composers and continues on the road until The Three Choirs Festival at Gloucester Cathedral in July 2023.

Alongside the concert all ticket holders are invited to join a complimentary singing workshop in the Cathedral Nave. Further details of the workshop will be sent out once tickets are purchased.
