Programme Note

Join us on Tuesday 3rd July for an evening of war music to commemorate 100 year since the end of the First World War. We will be performing music associated with war and music by composers caught up in the Great War from Wagner's Ride of the Valkyries to Holst's famous Planets and Butterworth's Banks of Green Willow. We welcome two soloists, our very own leader Simon Smith and the young soprano Polly Clarke.
