Add to my Calendar 12-03-2016 19:30 12-03-2016 21:30 36 Enfield Chamber Orchestra We are delighted to welcome YaYi Tian as our soloist in Beethoven’s 3rd piano concerto.   YaYi is studying at the Royal Academy of Music and is thrilled to have been given this opportunity to demonstrate the power and poetry of iBeethoven's C minor concerto with Enfield Chamber Orchestra. Theconcert will commence with the overture to Mozart’s opera Idomoneo, and conclude with Mendelssohn’s 4th Symphony, the Italian, in which all sections of the orchestra reveal the boyant and invigorating mood that enveloped the composer while he was touring Italy in 1830.  He once described this work as “blue sky in A major” and we hope that the grey clouds of winter will be left behind as you hear this symphony in our concert.
