Programme Note

Paola Delucchi and Albert Lau perform a rich programme of music for violin, from the 18th to the early 20th century. Enjoy pieces by two composers whose portraits feature in the Museum’s Picture Gallery – George Frideric Handel and Carl Maria von Weber – alongside Edward Elgar’s magical late Sonata.
