Programme Note

Join the HCO on this summer evening and be treated to Ludwig van Beethoven's passionate Egmont Overture, a piece that embodies the spirit of heroism and triumph. Following this, the popular and soul-stirring melodies of Felix Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto will take centre stage, featuring our young soloist, the amazing Àánú Sodipe. The concert will culminate with Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's Great G minor Symphony No. 40, a masterwork that captures the complexity and beauty of human emotions.
