Hear a pick’n’mix of Handel overtures, Handel’s innovative organ music and charming Telemann concertos. OAE Principal Artist John Butt takes to the keys for virtuoso performances of two Handel organ concertos, which broke the mould in the 18th century by combining a chamber organ with the Baroque orchestra. Next, the Telemann concertos feature an exotic array of Baroque instruments, including viola d’amore, recorder and oboe d’amore.
