The choir invites you to a performance 0f J S Bach’s magnificent St Matthew Passion, the zenith of western arts and music.
We will sing in German and the audience will be invited to join the choir in singing two of Bach’s chorales from St Matthew Passion in English.
Bach transports us back two thousand years, inviting us to eyewitness the crucifixion at Golgotha. The events leading up to it create a profound emotional response to the drama that unfolds before us expressed, through sublimely beautiful music.
