Add to my Calendar 04-03-2023 19:30 04-03-2023 21:30 36 Mass in Blue Mass in Blue by Guildford composer Will Todd has quickly established itself as one of the most treasured of all recent choral works, and Guildford Choral are delighted that, for their very first concert in the beautiful auditorium of Guildford Baptist Church, they will be joined by the Will Todd Jazz Ensemble with the composer at the keyboard. Also in this concert will be another choral work by a British jazz legend, George Shearing - Songs and Sonnets – featuring texts by William Shakespeare. These seven settings, some a cappella, some with piano and string bass, are fresh, exciting, and very accessible. This will be an evening with vibrant melodies, rhythm and energy at its heart.
