Programme Note
Handel and Telemann were both forced by their fathers to study law and both dropped out of their law schools to become composers. They were lifelong friends, corresponding regularly, and the two even shared a passion for gardening, exchanging bulbs via post! Royal Baroque present a programme of chamber music by Handel and Telemann, reuniting them in Handel’s own Music Room.
