You will see the travelling theatre arrive in the town square before moving on to the gardens at the Château de Sceaux where the Duchess is holding one of her ‘Grand Nuits’ with her private composer JJ Mouret providing the entertainment. After an interlude in the Société du Caveau for a sing song and glass of wine, time has passed and Rameau has finished his Opera Castor et Pollux.
