Add to my Calendar 08-12-2021 20:00 08-12-2021 22:00 36 Rameau's Roots & Mouret's Madness The show, with a cast of 7 musicians,3 singers and 4 actor/dancers tells the intertwined story of two French Baroque composers, the celebrated JP Rameau and his less famous compatriot JJ Mouret through their music and the popular music that surrounded them. You will see the travelling theatre arrive in the town square before moving on to the gardens at the Château de Sceaux where the Duchess is holding one of her ‘Grand Nuits’ with her private composer JJ Mouret providing the entertainment. After an interlude in the Société du Caveau for a sing song and glass of wine, time has passed and Rameau has finished his Opera Castor et Pollux.
