The programme includes a rare performance of Elgar's The Banner of St. George, and two works by Vaughan Williams in the 150th anniversary year of his birth: An Oxford Elegy and Five Mystical Songs, alongside pieces by Howells and Holst. The concert will also feature readings of poems by Ursula Vaughan Williams.
