Programme Note
St Anne's Bach Festival is an annual tradition stretching back to 1996, and this month sees its 30th edition.
Every July we celebrate the genius of Johann Sebastian Bach by hosting a series of concerts featuring the works of JSB himself as well as those of his family and his musical contemporaries.
Come and join us for the final lunchtime concert of the Festival, in which St Anne's Festival Voices will treat us to a programme featuring a variety of motets by J S Bach himself as well as motets by other members of the Bach family. The theme of the programme is “Media Vita in Morte Sumus” (Motets for Life and Death).
The performance will last around 45 minutes, and light refreshments (tea/coffee/biscuits) are available both before and afterwards.
