Programme Note

Imogen Russell

Imogen Russell sang with the choir of Trinity College, Cambridge under Stephen Layton for 4 years. Imogen sings with Polyphony and Illuminare professional choirs. Recent performances as Soprano soloist include the Holst Singers, and The Choir of St John’s College Cambridge under Andrew Nethsingha

 

Performances include Monteverdi Vespers, Tarney Magnificat, Mozart, Haydn and Vivaldi with the Coventry Philharmonic Choir. Imogen recently performed Haydn Nelson Mass, and Mozart Requiem with the Choir of St Mary's, Warwick. Imogen played the role of Female Chorus in the Benjamin Britten Opera, The Rape of Lucretia in January 2017 at St John’s College Cambridge. Future Performances include St John Passion – Polyphony.

 

Imogen has been awarded a place on the MMus Vocal Performance Course at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire in September 2018.
