Guildford Opera are performing Bizet’s opera The Pearl Fishers, in English at Guildford’s Holy Trinity Church. With evocative lighting and accompanied by a chamber orchestra, the church is transformed into a fishing village in Bahrain where the tragic love story between the priestess Leila and two friends Nadir and Zorga unfolds.
