Our Midsummer concert, which features Bernstein’s Chichester Psalms, Holst’s Hymns from the Rig Veda, Rutter’s The Gift of Life and Quartel’s This Endris Night, draws inspiration from a range of sacred texts on the theme of creation from a variety of different religions belief systems, each uniquely interpreted by the composer.
