In a programme ranging from the Renaissance to the present day and incorporating an eclectic mix of musical styles, we perform pieces that express love both sacred and secular: from various settings of the sensual yet spiritual Song of Solomon, through the intimacy of Whitacre’s Hebrew Love Songs and heartbreaking lamentation of When David Heard to the raw emotion of folk song and the wistful simplicity of Kate Rusby. Here you will find the gamut of romance, devotion, loss and betrayal: if you’re willing to risk your heart, we’d love to see you for what promises to be a starry night to remember.
