The group is formed of current students and graduates of Guildhall School of Music and Drama. The members are Rosie Bowker (flute), Chris Hatton (clarinet), Grace Warren (oboe), Chihiro Kashiwakura (bassoon), and Siân Collins (French horn). In May 2015, the Éolienne Quintet won first prize in the Ivan Sutton Chamber Music competition. They have performed in and around London including appearances at Regent Hall and Silk Street Concert Hall and have further performances lined up in 2016 including a concert in early February 2016 as part of their prize for winning the Ivan Sutton competition.
