The repertoire in this concert exhibits the breadth, spirit and energy of her performances on display during the competition in November 2024 and highlights from Manami’s debut album. The programme features Haydn’s rare four-movement work, his Piano Sonata No. 13, Schubert’s radiant Piano Sonata No. 18, Bach’s B-flat minor Prelude and Fugue (WTC book II) and Szymanowski’s programmatic Metopes which were inspired by Greek mythology with the addition of Faure’s expressive Valse-Caprice No. 2 in D-flat major, Op. 38.
