The Thames Philharmonia present a french-themed concert. There is a lively start with the Rob Roy overture by Berlioz. Robert Roy MacGregor was a Scottish outlaw, who later became a folk hero. He has been called "the Scottish Robin Hood. Haim Choi is the soloist in the Saint-Saens 3rd Violin Concerto.

Debussy fills the second half with the Marche Ecossaise arranged for orchestra and the popular Iberia
