Programme Note
Many great composers excelled in the forms of both opera and song. On Friday, 18th October in the beautiful setting of Leighton House in Kensington, the soloists of Rose Opera will be using their own playful and interactive storyline to celebrate the contributions of Mozart, Verdi, Puccini, Strauss and others to both genres. The evening includes excerpts from Puccini’s La Boheme, Verdi’s Otello, Mozart's Die Zauberflöte and Purcell's Dido and Aeneas. Join us for an evening of top-quality vocal music, accompanied by piano, and put together with a light touch.
